Help Center · Connect Slack

Engagement alerts in Slack, two clicks.

The moment a recipient opens their box, watches the video, or comes back for another look, your team hears about it in the channel where they already work — with the contact, the company, and a one-click jump to the send.

Connect your workspace

1
Open the Slack card
In the Boxli dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Slack card.
2
Click “Add to Slack”
Slack’s own screen opens — choose the workspace and the channel that should receive alerts.
3
Allow, and you’re live
You’re bounced back to Boxli, and a ✅ confirmation message lands in the channel you picked. Alerts are on.
Check the wiring anytime
The integration card shows exactly where alerts go ("Posting to #channel in Workspace"), and its Test button fires a sample message on demand. Prefer a hand-rolled setup? The same card accepts a pasted Slack incoming-webhook URL.

The alerts

📦Box delivered

The carrier confirms delivery — your 2-hour warm follow-up window opens.

▶️First watch

The recipient opens the video brochure and starts watching for the first time.

⏱️Watched N minutes

A single session crosses the watch-time bar you set (default 10 minutes).

🔁Came back

They re-engage after a quiet gap you define — the classic buying signal.

🌐Landing page time

They spend real time on your landing page after scanning the QR code.

🚚Box traveled

The brochure moves a meaningful distance — it is being carried around or passed on.

🔋Low battery

A brochure in the field is running low and may stop reporting soon.

Every alert carries the contact, title, company, engagement count, and a View Send button that deep-links to the full engagement story.

Choose what fires, and how often

Settings → Notifications holds your workspace defaults — the rules every send inherits. Any send's own page can layer on send-specific rules ("this send only") or mute an inherited default for that send alone. Each rule has a firing cadence:

  • Only the first timeFires once, on the first qualifying engagement, then never again.
  • At most once a dayThe default. One alert per contact per day, however busy they get.
  • After a week of quietFires again only after seven days of silence since the last alert.
  • Every timeEvery qualifying engagement — still at most one alert per event, never repeats.
Signal, not noise — guaranteed
Two rules hold no matter how alerts are configured: they only fire for engagement that just happened (never replayed history), and one engagement event fires a rule at most once.

Pause or disconnect

Settings → Notifications has a master pause that silences everything without losing your rules. Disconnecting from the integration card stops delivery entirely; reconnecting later takes the same two clicks.
