What the brochure hardware requires and how the built-in converter fixes the rest.
The video brochure is real hardware, not a web player, so it is particular about format. It needs MP4, at a resolution of at least 1024×600 (1280×720 recommended), and it holds up to 20 minutes of total runtime — that 20-minute card capacity is the real physical limit, and it spans the whole sequence if you use multiple clips. For attention’s sake, 30 seconds to 2 minutes per video is the sweet spot.
You do not have to check any of this by hand. Every video in the library carries a compatibility badge, and incompatible ones say exactly what is wrong — wrong format, resolution too low, or over the runtime limit.
For format problems there is a built-in fix: MOV, AVI, and WebM files show a Convert option that re-encodes them to MP4. Conversion runs in the background with a progress indicator, so you can keep working; when it finishes, the badge flips to compatible and the video is ready to load onto a brochure. Resolution and length are the two things conversion cannot fix — those need a re-export or a trim on your side.
