The video brochure in the box

What the screen in the box lid actually is, and where brochure engagement data comes from.

The video brochure is a small LCD screen built into the box lid. When the recipient opens the box, the video starts playing automatically — no button, no QR scan, no app to install. That zero-friction moment is the whole point: your message plays before they have decided whether to engage.

The brochure is also where your engagement data comes from. Over a built-in cellular connection it reports opens, plays, and watch duration, plus device battery level and location pings. That is how Boxli can tell you someone watched to the end, watched again three days later, passed the box to a colleague across the office, or carried it to another city — physical-world engagement, measured like a web page.

The recipient needs nothing: no app, no pairing, no Wi-Fi. The cellular link is on Boxli’s side. If the battery runs low, an alert rule can warn you before the device goes quiet.
