Delivery tracking and send statuses

What pending, processing, shipped, delivered, and engaged mean — and where the tracking number lives.

Every send moves through a fixed sequence of statuses, visible on the Sends page and on each send’s own page.

  • Pending — confirmed and waiting in the fulfillment queue.
  • Processing — the box is being assembled and packed.
  • Shipped — with the carrier. The tracking number appears on the send the moment this happens.
  • Delivered — carrier-confirmed at the door.
  • Engaged — the recipient actually opened or scanned. This is the status that matters: it is only set on a real engagement event, so it is proof of attention, not a guess.
  • Failed / Returned — carrier off-ramps: the box could not complete its journey or came back. The reason is shown on the send.

The send page shows the journey as a timeline — Order Placed → Processing → Shipped → Delivered → Engaged — so you can see at a glance exactly how far a box has gotten and when each milestone happened.

Delivered is your follow-up window; Engaged is your signal to call. Connect Slack and both moments come to you instead of you watching the list.
