Can I change things after sending?

Destinations: anytime. Video: until the box is packed. Address: until it ships. Rules: always.

Depends on what you want to change — the rule of thumb is that digital things stay editable forever, physical things lock when the atoms do.

  • QR and NFC destinations — editable anytime, even after delivery. The printed codes encode a Boxli redirect, not a fixed URL, so updating a destination on the send’s page takes effect instantly on a box already sitting on someone’s desk.
  • The brochure video — editable only until fulfillment packs the box. After that, the file is on the physical device and shipping with it.
  • The shipping address — editable only before the box ships. Once a carrier has it, the destination is fixed; if it is wrong at that point, let it fail or return, then re-send corrected.
  • Alert rules — always editable. Rules on the Notifications page apply to all engagement going forward, including on boxes delivered long ago.
  • Campaign workflows — editable anytime, but edits apply to future runs. A send already moving through a workflow continues on the version it started with.

The editable-destinations point is worth exploiting deliberately: a box keeps living on a desk for weeks, and repointing its codes — from case study to proposal to signing page as the deal moves — keeps the physical artifact useful for the whole cycle.
