Connect Gmail so workflow Send email steps come from your real mailbox, not a platform address.
Campaign workflows can include Send email steps — a follow-up that goes out at exactly the right moment in the sequence, like right after a first watch. With Gmail connected, those emails send from your actual mailbox: your address, your sent folder, replies landing back in your inbox. To the recipient it is simply an email from you, which is the whole point — deliverability and reply rates follow the real mailbox, not a platform sender.
Setup is one card: Settings → Integrations, find the Gmail card, click Connect, and approve on Google’s consent screen. Once the card shows Connected, every Send email step in your workflows uses that mailbox.
If Gmail is not connected when a workflow reaches a Send email step, the step does not fail the run — it is skipped and a task is created for a rep to send the email manually, so the sequence keeps moving either way.
