Prepay postage into a wallet; each label deducts its postage at cost, with auto-reload or a card fallback when it runs low.
Workspaces on the shipping wallet prepay postage instead of paying per label. When Boxli buys the shipping label for one of your boxes, the carrier’s actual postage comes out of your wallet at cost — no markup, and the amount shows on the wallet activity list with the recipient it shipped to.
Add funds on Settings → Billing: pick $250, $500, or $1,000, or enter any amount from $50 to $10,000. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout and the card is kept on file for reloads. The balance updates as soon as the payment settles, usually within a few seconds of returning to the page.
Auto-reload keeps postage from stalling a shipment: set a floor and a reload amount, and whenever a label pushes the balance below the floor Boxli charges your saved card for the reload amount. If you leave auto-reload off, you get an email and an in-app note when the balance runs low, at most once a day.
A label that costs more than what is left in the wallet is not held up. Boxli charges your saved card for that label’s postage, leaves the wallet balance as it was, and adds a note to the activity list explaining why. With no card on file, the box waits until funds are added.
Only owners and admins can add funds or change auto-reload. Members can see the balance and activity. If you would like to move a workspace onto the wallet, or off it, ask the Boxli team — the shipping arrangement is set per workspace.
