Settings → Account controls the name recipients see on shipping emails and which email types are on by default.
When Boxli emails a recipient — gift announcement, shipped, out for delivery, delivered — the name they see on those emails is your sender identity. It is configured in Settings → Account.
The same page controls which email types are enabled by default. Those defaults are what the send wizard starts from in its Notifications step, so setting them here once means most sends need no per-send email decisions at all — you only touch the Notifications step when a specific send should differ.
Pick a sender identity the recipient will recognize. A box from a rep they have been talking to should carry that rep’s name; a broader campaign might carry the company name. The email is often the recipient’s first touchpoint with the send — a recognizable sender makes it a warm-up, an unrecognizable one makes it noise.
The recipient-facing emails themselves are covered in Recipient shipping emails, including when to skip them entirely and let the box be a surprise.
